Job summary

Addison Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to protect enterprise infrastructure, cloud environments, and business-critical systems. This role works with infrastructure, networking, and application teams to identify risks, implement controls, and respond to security incidents.

The onsite position offers a 12-month contract with a Monday–Friday schedule and a pay rate of $55–$63 per hour, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with security tooling (Defender, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
• Knowledge of Azure or AWS security and IAM controls.
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs and endpoint protection.
• Understanding of NIST/CIS frameworks.
• Security certifications are a plus (e.g., Security+, CISSP, AZ-500).
