Job summary

Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join the Rotary & Mission Systems Technical Operations team in Manassas, VA.

The role focuses on building new security architectures across a large DoD system of systems, providing cyber engineering expertise and guiding design reviews with emphasis on STIGs. You will research new cybersecurity capabilities, perform trade studies, and develop system documentation for information system authorization, security management,

Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.

This position is for a Cybersecurity Engineering Professional in the Rotary & Mission Systems Technical Operations organization. Cybersecurity Engineer Job Description

This position is for a Cybersecurity Engineering Professional in the Rotary & Mission Systems Technical Operations organization. Required Skills

• Experience in software system design and development
• Experience with devSecOps solutions
• Experience using the Agile Methodology

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of MBSE based design
• Cyber Engineering experience
• Knowledge with Linux systems and large system development
• Knowledge in PKI
• Cloud experience such as Kubernetes and containers
• Experience in scripting languages like Python.
• Basic knowledge of networking exposure with ability to understand packet captures.
• Effective oral and written communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related master’s degree.
• Must be able to obtain and keep a DoD Secret Clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen with no dual citizenship.
• Proactive/self-starter. Task driven with ability to work independently.
• Team player that takes ownership and develops relationships that fosters team success.

Job: Full-Time Employee, 40 hours/week
