NKSFB, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for a hybrid role in Los Angeles, CA. You will design, implement, and support on-premises and cloud security environments to keep critical systems secure.

Responsibilities include maintaining uptime, administering Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra (Azure), MFA, DLP, SIEM, and CASB; conducting threat analysis, vulnerability scans, and incident response. Strong collaboration and security posture improvement are needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
• 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in information security.
• Preferred certifications: Network+, Security+, CySA+, CCSP, MS Cybersecurity Architect Expert, CEH.

NKSFB, LLC is hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer for a hybrid role in Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support on-premises and cloud security environments.
• Maintain continuous uptime and protection for critical infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, network components, and applications.
• Administer and manage security tools and solutions such as Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra (Azure), MFA, DLP, IDS, IPS, Anti-Virus, SSO, URL filtering, password management, SIEM, and CASB.
• Review threat intelligence reports to identify, triage, and remediate threats.
• Run vulnerability scans (for example, Nessus) and implement remediation plans.
• Perform security forensics and support incident response efforts.
• Maintain and monitor audit trails, system logs, and other monitoring data sources to detect malicious activity.
• Develop and maintain a knowledgebase covering security advisories, alerts, trends, and best practices.
• Conduct risk and security assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for identified vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and guidelines including SOC 2, CCPA, and CPRA.
• Provide reporting and metrics for the information security program to IT Management.
• Track hardware and software update schedules to address vulnerabilities promptly.
• Support litigation-related activities, including litigation searches and securing sensitive information.
• Partner with IT staff to integrate security into the evaluation, selection, installation, and configuration of hardware and software.
• Develop and maintain an security awareness program, including training staff on network and information security protocols.
• Provide after-hours support as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• Expertise in network, server, internet, endpoint, cloud, email, and application security.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with others, preserve confidentiality, and exercise discretion.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 7 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in an information security role.
• Preferred certifications: Network+, Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CCSP, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).

Compensation: USD 90,000 - 140,000 per year.
