Job summary

Interclypse, Inc. in Maryland seeks a cybersecurity professional to assist in implementing, maintaining, and monitoring enterprise security solutions.

You will work under senior engineers to configure security tools, respond to alerts, and perform initial analysis of potential incidents, while helping keep documentation and SOPs up to date. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in a related field and at least three years in software engineering or systems administration, plus a year with firewalls,

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IS, Engineering preferred.
• Experience: At least 3 years as software engineer or systems administrator.
• Specialized: At least 1 year with security technologies such as firewalls, IDPS, or endpoint security.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of cybersecurity solutions across the enterprise.
• Configure and troubleshoot security tools under supervision.
• Respond to security alerts and perform initial analysis of potential incidents.
• Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.

Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. All positions are required to be on-site at various locations in Maryland.

Position Summary

Assists in the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of cybersecurity solutions across the enterprise. Works under the direction of senior engineers to configure and troubleshoot security tools, respond to security alerts, and perform initial analysis of potential security incidents. Helps maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is preferred.

General Experience: At least three (3) years of experience as a software engineer or systems administrator.

Specialized Experience: At least one (1) year of experience working directly with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS), or endpoint security solutions.
