Booz Allen Hamilton invites ambitious students to join the Enterprise Cybersecurity Data Loss Prevention intern program. You will gain hands-on experience supporting internal data protection operations in a Cyber Fusion Center environment, with exposure to DLP policy management, incident analysis, data classification, and reporting.

You’ll work with senior analysts, contribute to dashboards and policy reviews, and develop communication and technical skills through mentorship and team

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection concepts.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Bachelor’s degree by December 2028 in a relevant field.
• Familiarity with DLP tools such as Purview or Trellix.

Aufgaben

• Assist in compiling monthly/quarterly DLP metrics and executive summaries.
• Test detection rules in sandbox/non-prod environments before prod rollout.
• Triage low-severity DLP alerts per escalation criteria.
• Research false-positive vs true-positive logic and review DLP policies.
• Document lessons learned from tuning or migrations.
• Assist data classification initiatives and user awareness activities.
• Participate in team meetings and discuss emerging threats and best practices.
• Enhance communication by presenting findings in team reviews.
