Job summary

Onit seeks a Director of Cybersecurity Engineering & Operations to lead security across its AI-driven legal tech platform and corporate infrastructure. You will shape strategy, architecture, and operations to protect products, cloud environments, and employees while enabling secure growth.

You will mentor a team of security engineers, collaborate with IT, product, and legal, and drive incident response, vulnerability management, and secure software development practices across the SDLC,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years in leadership
• Deep AWS security experience including IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, EKS/ECS
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, CSPM, vulnerability management, WAF
• Experience securing Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments
• Strong knowledge of SAST/DAST/SCA, SBOMs, API security
• Hands-on with AI tools in security workflows and AI-enabled apps

Responsibilities

• Translate risk into technical roadmaps and measurable outcomes
• Design and improve security controls across AWS and corporate networks
• Lead security operations, incident response, and runbooks
• Oversee vulnerability management and remediation prioritization
• Lead security for identity, endpoint, email, and application security
• Mentor security staff and manage vendors and third parties
