Job summary

The Information Technology Unit (ITU) within the Virginia Department of Corrections seeks an ITU Security Analyst: Central Administration to support security investigations, FOIA requests, and electronic discovery. You will work on forensic operations, Microsoft Purview activities, and ensure timely responses to cybersecurity incidents, employee investigations, and legally regulated requests.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of digital evidence collection, preservation, and secure handling practices.
• Understands electronic discovery (eDiscovery) processes, litigation holds, and FOIA-related information handling.
• Apply cybersecurity principles, investigative procedures, and digital forensic methodologies effectively.
• Utilizes critical forensic tools, monitoring software, and investigative applications proficiently.
