MetLife is seeking an attorney with global cybersecurity legal experience to join our cyber legal team in a hybrid New York office. The Senior Counsel will advise the Enterprise on navigating evolving cybersecurity laws and regulations and provide guidance across Legal Affairs, Global Security, Compliance, Risk, and Government Affairs.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber incident response investigations with regulatory compliance in mind.
• Provide legal counsel on cybersecurity matters including audits, third-party risk, and regulatory inquiries.
• Manage interactions with law enforcement and regulators; monitor evolving cybersecurity laws and policy trends.
• Develop and enforce information security policies to meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Provide strategic guidance on cybersecurity programs including identity/access management and vulnerability management.
• Support executive reporting, cybersecurity training, and cross-functional collaboration worldwide.
