Job summary

Emerging Tech is seeking a Program Manager for Cybersecurity & Compliance in Florida with remote work options. You will oversee end-to-end contract deliverables, including kickoff, planning, testing oversight, reporting, quality management, and closeout across up to 30 agencies.

You will direct multi-agency coordination, manage evidence, risk, and change control, and deliver executive-level status reporting and briefings. Florida residency is required for this role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience managing complex cybersecurity, IT audit, compliance, or cyber risk engagements.
• 3+ years leading multi-agency or enterprise-wide programs.
• Experience delivering in government environments at state, local, or federal levels.
• Experience with firm fixed price or deliverable-based contracts.
• Program management across 20+ client organizations or units.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client interface and single point of accountability for all deliverables and contractual commitments.
• Lead kickoff, develop and maintain the Master Project Plan, and manage program governance.
• Coordinate multi-agency testing windows, access requests, and stakeholder communications.
• Oversee evidence packages, submission tracking, and formal acceptance records.
• Maintain risk and issue registers and escalate variances before milestones.
• Generate status reports and executive dashboards on a regular cadence.
• Facilitate lessons learned sessions and formal knowledge transfer to government staff.
• Ensure confidentiality, records retention, and public records compliance across the team.
• Manage change control and secure client written approvals before work proceeds.
