Client: Banking

Location: Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC or Atlanta, GA (Remote but must be within one of these locations and willing to come into the office as needed.)

Length: 6+ month Assignment

Pay: $60 -$70/hour W2 (No Corp-to-Corp)

We are seeking a Data Analyst who excels at interpreting and analyzing structured datasets from platforms like SharePoint.This role requires a candidate with an understanding of GRC principles (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) to identify gaps, connect frameworks to standards, and create compelling data-driven insights.With new regulations constantly coming down the pipeline this role will be helping to look at the current Controls in place to determine if action is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze structured datasets, transforming reports into actionable insights.
• Interpret controls, standards, and frameworks to assess compliance and identify missing elements.
• Develop pivot tables and reports using Excel, SharePoint-generated data, and Power BI (A similar visualization tool could also work).
• Create impactful presentations in PowerPoint to communicate findings effectively.
• Engage in GRC-related discussions, ensuring clear and strategic alignment between data and compliance needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate raw data into meaningful business recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Experience in data analysis, particularly in financial or compliance-related environments.
• Strong knowledge of GRC frameworks and how they relate to data insights.
• Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables), Power BI, and SharePoint-based reporting.
• Ability to tell a story with data—connecting insights to business needs.
• Excellent communication skills to convey findings through presentations and discussions with stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with structured datasets (not large-scale big data).
