Job summary

ASM Research is seeking a cybersecurity specialist to create and validate secure systems, work with developers to close security gaps, and conduct comprehensive testing for assurance. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, 5–10 years of security experience, and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of experience in systems security.
• Secret Security Clearance.
• Background in testing fundamentals and agile processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work with a developer to identify potential security shortcomings in new software deployment.
• Plan fixes with the developer and test the solution.
• Configure and validate secure systems; test security products to detect weaknesses.
• Review system audits and monitor corrective actions until closure.
• Design or recommend integrated system solutions to protect data and systems.
• Support certification and accreditation of systems by establishing strict control processes.
• Review processes and security protocols and suggest improvements for protection.
