Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Irvine invites a Cybersecurity Winter/Spring Co-Op for Jan–June 2027. You will work with security, engineering and product teams on CRA readiness, data security posture remediation, and cyber resilience testing.

This hands-on role requires initiative with mentorship from a senior resource. You will track findings to closure, develop runbooks and gain exposure to regulatory compliance and security operations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, engineering, risk management, or a related field.
• Available for a full-time, six-month co-op term.
• Working proficiency with standard productivity and collaboration tools (spreadsheets, documents, presentations, ticketing or project tracking systems).
• Strong written and verbal communication, and ability to translate technical detail for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) compliance support including requirement mapping, evidence collection, and gap tracking.
• DSPM finding remediation follow-up: triage findings, assign ownership, track due dates and verify closure.
• Cyber resilience and recovery testing: plan, schedule, coordinate participants, and document scope and objectives.
• Capture test results, document lessons learned, and follow corrective actions through to closure.
