Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton's Enterprise Cybersecurity (ECS) division seeks an Enterprise Cybersecurity Automation Engineer in McLean, VA to design, develop, and maintain security automation solutions at scale. You will integrate security tools via Python, APIs, and SOAR to improve response times and operational efficiency.

You will collaborate with cyber operations teams, expand automation coverage, and help translate requirements into production-grade workflows.

Qualifications

4+ years of programming experience with Python, REST APIs, and SOAP APIs.
3+ years of experience with security operations, incident response, threat management, or security engineering.
Experience with playbook development using SOAR platforms such as Swimlane, Phantom, ServiceNow, Tines, or Demisto.
Experience using cloud provider services including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Ability to create and execute test plans for new integrations and automation.
Ability to identify and address areas where automation can be improved by refactoring or adopting new tooling.
Ability to develop innovative solutions to improve customer experiences and prototype with production-level quality.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree required.
