Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Two to five years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Network Security, IT Audit, Cybersecurity Audit, Firewall Administration, Network Engineering, or OT Security.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, risks, controls, and governance practices.
• Knowledge of network security concepts, architecture, segmentation, and firewall administration.
• Familiarity with IDS/IPS, NDR, VPNs, cloud network security, OT/industrial networks, and security monitoring.
• Experience with frameworks like NIST/CIS/ISO is preferred; professional certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute risk-based audits and advisory reviews focused on network security, firewall management, OT environments, and related controls.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of controls preventing unauthorized access across enterprise networks, cloud, OT, and industrial systems.
• Assess governance and security of enterprise firewalls, cloud networking, access controls, and perimeter defenses.
• Review firewall rule management, configuration, change control, provisioning, approvals, and decommissioning.
• Evaluate network architecture and segmentation strategies to isolate critical assets.
• Assess remote access, VPNs, third-party connectivity, DMZs, identity-aware controls, and Zero Trust.
• Evaluate security monitoring, IDS/IPS, incident detection, logging, and threat detection processes.
• Assess network infrastructure security (routers, switches, wireless, etc.) and SCADA/ICS security in OT environments.
• Identify risk indicators, emerging threats, and opportunities to strengthen network and OT security.
