Job summary

Avalore, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to embed security across the War Data Platform, translating RMF/STIGs into implementable patterns and owning IAM, network zoning, and encryption strategies. This role collaborates with Platform, Data, and Solutions Architects to ensure the system is designed with security at its core.

Qualified candidates have a SECRET clearance and certifications such as CEH, CISSP-ISSAP, or GCIA as relevant to level, plus 0–8+ years experience depending on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required for all levels.
• Active US security clearance required (SECRET or higher).
• Ability to translate RMF, STIGs, and SOC 1 controls into architecture.
• Strong communication and self-starter mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design defense-in-depth security across War Data Platform.
• Own IAM framework design, network security zoning, and encryption strategies.
• Develop logging/monitoring architecture and secure-by-design patterns.
• Collaborate with Platform, Data, and Solutions Architects to ensure security-first design.
