Job summary

ECS Federal in Huntsville, AL is seeking a TS-cleared Cybersecurity Analyst to support a DOJ program with responsibilities spanning security monitoring, incident response, and risk-driven improvements.

The role requires active Top Secret clearance, extensive experience in cybersecurity analysis, and familiarity with NIST frameworks. Contingent upon contract award and exciting opportunities in federal defense IT.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with Top Secret clearance required.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent certifications.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with DOJ/FBI cybersecurity processes and/or Risk Management Framework.
• Familiarity with NIST FIPS-199 and CNSS standards and JCAM/Xacta tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor computer networks for security issues.
• Investigate security breaches and cybersecurity incidents.
• Document security breaches and assess damages.
• Work with security team to perform tests and uncover vulnerabilities (e.g., penetration testing).

ECS is seeking aTS-cleared Cybersecurity Analyst to support one of our mission critical programs for the Department of Justice inHuntsville, AL.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $198,000

As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will apply cybersecurity analysis and subject-matter expertise to support system categorization, labor alignment, security-risk analysis, reporting, and improvement activities under the ISaaS program-management model. Translate technical and operational data into actionable recommendations and supports consistency across system portfolios.
