Job summary

Initial Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst in Indianapolis, IN to identify and manage cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities. You will be responsible for tracking metrics related to risk management and contributing to the integration of security protocols into technology lifecycles.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field along with at least 1 year of experience in cybersecurity and relevant security technologies. Compensation is competitive, with a salary range of $61,651 to $103,500.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, develop, and implement solutions to reduce cybersecurity threats.
• Monitor cyber vulnerabilities and risks to ensure proper management.
• Track metrics related to cybersecurity mitigation efforts.
• Prepare reports on the effectiveness of threat mitigation strategies and ongoing risk reduction.
• Support project alignment across security, technology, and engineering teams.
• Assist with integration of cybersecurity protocols into technology lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a closely related technical field.
• At least 1 year of experience analyzing cybersecurity operations.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with security control technologies including firewalls, encryption, identity and access management (IAM), security information and event management (SIEM), and data loss prevention (DLP).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with security automation tools.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with vulnerability management processes.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with cloud security approaches and systems hardening and configuration.

Compensation & Benefits

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $61,651.00 – $103,500.00 per year. Eligible full‑time employees will also be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
