Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst – IT Contingency Management to support DHRA, including DMDC and OUSD(P&R). This role requires deep expertise in RMF, governance, and incident response to strengthen enterprise contingency planning for government clients.

The candidate will assess contingency plans, track actions, and report on compliance status, while applying senior information-assurance practices and DoD standards to ensure continuity and security across systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; field not specified.
• Ten years of experience in cybersecurity or IT contingency.
• U.S. citizen with eligibility for a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and recommend enterprise-level IT contingency-management directives and guidance aligned with DoD requirements.
• Assess system-owner contingency plans, exercises, and related artifacts for compliance, completeness, and consistency.
• Track corrective actions, implementation progress, plan reviews, and required updates; elevate noncompliance to the Government.
• Support reporting and visualization of IT contingency-management compliance status for leadership awareness.
• Identify opportunities to improve repeatability, efficiency, and consistency across the DHRA IT Contingency Management Program.
• Apply senior information-assurance expertise in NIST RMF controls, compliance analysis, POA&M-related activities, Tier 3 troubleshooting, and site-level IA leadership to contingency-management oversight.
