Job summary

GadellNet Consulting Services, LLC. is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to protect client networks and data. The role focuses on incident investigation, daily escalation reviews, and MDR/EDR/AV alert handling, with hands-on firewall and switch changes, plus ongoing documentation and SOP development.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in cybersecurity, familiarity with tools like KnowBe4 and SentinelOne, and strong communication skills. Indiana-based, on-site position with standard M-F hours.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a cybersecurity-related position.
• Familiar with security tooling including KnowBe4, SentinelOne, Blackpoint MDR, Timus.
• Basic to intermediate troubleshooting of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Identify risks and implement security controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience with vulnerability assessments and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Investigate cybersecurity incidents, including BECs and infections.
• Review daily cybersecurity escalations and reported phishing emails.
• Assess MDR/EDR/AV alerts daily and take required actions.
• Participate in Incident Response protocols.
• Configure and analyze vulnerability assessments.
• Perform changes to firewalls and switches.
• Develop knowledge-based articles and SOPs.
• Stay up to date on cybersecurity trends, technology, and standards.
