Position Purpose

The Home Depot’s Cyber Threat Intelligence team is seeking a cyber defender with experience and skills to identify emerging threats. Responsibilities include identifying vulnerabilities, attacker trends, and novel malware. Critical thinking is essential to identify threats that could impact one of the largest retailers in North America. Knowledge of the OWASP top 10 and attacker exploitation methods is a plus. The role supports Threat Intelligence Notifications and Operations activities within the team.

Role Description

Security Operations (Security Analytics and Cyber Threat Intelligence) Systems II Cybersecurity Analyst:

• Compose well-written reports and documentation for organizational distribution.
• Understand vulnerabilities across various technologies.
• Maintain a growth mindset, interested in learning tools and processes used by the Cybersecurity department.
• Familiarity with intelligence writing and structured analytic techniques such as analysis of competing hypotheses and
