Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a motivated Tier 2 Cybersecurity Analyst to investigate, analyze, and respond to complex security incidents. You will collaborate with multiple teams, communicate findings to stakeholders, and apply AI-assisted tools to improve detection and response in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2–4 years of related experience, SIEM/SOAR proficiency, and strong analytical and communication skills. Shift-based work in the USA is included, with a 12-hour, 2‑2‑3 schedule.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant cybersecurity experience or equivalent education/certifications.
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR, log analysis, and threat investigations.
• Familiarity with AI concepts and AI-driven security tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-depth investigations of escalated security alerts from SIEM.
• Leverage AI-driven analytics to accelerate threat detection and response.
• Coordinate with Threat Intelligence, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Advise clients on technical countermeasures and provide updates during incidents.
• Maintain and improve incident response playbooks and processes.
• Uphold escalation procedures and service levels.
