Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a motivated Tier 2 Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in the United States. The role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and responding to complex security incidents, using AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

You will lead investigations of escalated alerts, collaborate with Threat Intelligence and vendors, and advise clients on countermeasures while maintaining incident response playbooks and service levels.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of security experience or equivalent education/certifications.
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR tools, log analysis, and cyber threat investigations.
• Familiarity with AI concepts and applications in cybersecurity operations; hands-on AI tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-depth investigations of escalated security alerts from SIEM and other sources.
• Leverage AI-driven analytics and automation to accelerate threat detection and improve incident response decisions.
• Coordinate with Threat Intelligence, vendors, and stakeholders to assess and respond to incidents.
• Advise clients on technical countermeasures and provide updates during active incidents.
• Maintain and improve incident response playbooks and processes.
• Uphold escalation procedures and service levels.
