Job summary

COLSA Corporation seeks a Cybersecurity Analyst IAM I (Basic) to support the Missile Defense Agency ITCM contract in Dahlgren, VA. This on-site role focuses on RMF, eMASS, vulnerability management, continuous monitoring, and risk mitigation.

You will work with government and contractor teams to identify risks, deliver quality cybersecurity products, train junior staff, and document security controls in eMASS, while maintaining compliance and preparing executive briefings.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree (or higher) in an applicable field.
  • Minimum of four years of DoD cybersecurity experience.
  • Active DoD IAM Level I certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent).
  • Ability to obtain eMASS certification.
  • U.S. citizenship; Active DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer requirements to develop project schedules and milestones.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level briefings for senior leadership.
  • Operate within eMASS to document controls and monitor compliance.
  • Manage POA&Ms to track progress and risk mitigation.
  • Provide risk-based recommendations to improve policies and procedures.

COLSA Corporation is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst IAM I (Basic) to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Information Technology and Cybersecurity Management (ITCM) contract in Dahlgren, VA!

This position will provide cybersecurity and risk management support with a focus on Risk Management Framework (RMF), eMASS, vulnerability management, continuous monitoring, cybersecurity compliance, and risk mitigation. The Cybersecurity Analyst will work closely with government and contractor teams to identify and mitigate risk and deliver high-quality cybersecurity products and support.

  • Analyze customer requirements to develop project schedules, establish milestone targets, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Exercise sound judgment and decision-making when evaluating multiple courses of action.
  • Conduct comprehensive quality control assessments to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level briefings and presentations tailored for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Utilize online research and analytical tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
  • Manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to track and report on progress, compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Operate within the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) environment to document security controls, track authorization status, and maintain continuous monitoring compliance.
  • Advise and assist the customer on improvements and corrections to current and future policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Perform quality control reviews of Prime contractor tasks and artifacts.
  • Demonstrate competent knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), Computer Network Defense, and vulnerability management.
  • Work independently with minimal direction to execute key tasks.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, initiative, and professionalism.
  • Work directly with other contractors and government personnel to minimize risk to the agency.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to resolve issues and mitigate risk.
  • Train and develop Basic-level employees.
  • Utilize cybersecurity tools, including ACAS, ESS, Tanium, SIEM, and eMASS, to generate cybersecurity reports and deliverables.
  • Conduct quality reviews of cybersecurity policies and documentation and recommend updates.
  • Actively pursue the advanced knowledge and skills required for progression to the Advanced role.
  • Deliver high-quality products requiring minimal modification.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree (or higher) in an applicable field.

  • Active/current DoD IAM Level I certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent).

Minimum Salary $100,000.00

Maximum Salary $110,000.00
