Job summary

3 Squared Technology Group is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support enterprise-level Air Force simulation systems at Maxwell AFB, Gunter Annex, Montgomery, AL. The role focuses on vulnerability scanning, STIG validation, and cybersecurity operations.

Candidates must have 5+ years of DoD cybersecurity experience, active Secret clearance, CISSP certification, and be able to work onsite. Familiarity with NIST, CxSAST, and team collaboration is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with STIG validation and vulnerability scanning.
• Experience with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policy and NIST standards.
• Experience with or training in Checkmarx SAST (CxSAST).
• Knowledge of networks, system components, protocols, COTS tech, and software development.
• Self-driven with the ability to manage workload without direct supervision.
• Ability to anticipate problems and mitigate impact.

Responsibilities

• Serves as cybersecurity advisor to the Program Manager and Technical Lead.
• Prepares detailed reports documenting vulnerabilities and remediation steps.
• Conducts vulnerability analysis to validate STIG compliance.
• Tracks STIG compliance and vulnerability resolutions.
• Reviews change proposals to determine security relevance.
• Participates in design sessions and testing efforts.
• Fosters team collaboration and builds positive security relationships.
