Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Cybersecurity or related field with 7–9 years of software development in a research environment.
• US citizenship required to obtain a security clearance.
• Strong Python and ML libraries experience (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Experience with deep learning models and libraries, especially HuggingFace, PyTorch.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and threats.
• Experience with unit testing and CI (Jenkins, GitHub, etc.).
• Excellent communication and teamwork; ability to document work.
• Familiarity with RHEL and batch systems (PBS/SLURM).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LLM research tools for cybersecurity data using Python, HuggingFace, and PyTorch.
• Design and implement unit tests and CI pipelines to ensure high-quality code.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain research tools and software.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for research tools and software.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to codebase improvements.
• Develop and maintain strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and threats.
• Contribute to proposals for external sponsors and funding opportunities.
• Stay up to date with AI, cybersecurity, and LLM developments.
