Job summary

Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas in De Queen, Arkansas, seeks a Cybersecurity/Artificial Intelligence Instructor to teach a mix of in-person and online courses to both secondary and post-secondary students; develop curriculum and instructional materials as needed; evaluate student performance by following UAC’s assessment plan; engage with business and industry representatives; facilitate and maintain relationships with other colleges within the CyberLearn consortium.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field with 5+ years in-field experience.
• Master’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field preferred.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach a combination of at least five in-person and/or online courses per semester for secondary and post-secondary students.
• Develop curriculum and instructional materials as needed.
• Evaluate student performance following the assessment plan.
• Engage with business and industry representatives and partners.
• Participate in grant writing and administration; advise program students.
• Attend recruiting events; collaborate with CyberLearn consortium.
