Job summary

Skadden is seeking outstanding junior and mid-level associates (class of 2023-2019) to join its Global Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Practice and AI Practice in Washington, DC.

Candidates should have two to six years of relevant experience, including handling data privacy, AI, and cybersecurity matters, and a strong academic record. The starting base salary is between $260,000 and $420,000 annually, with potential annual bonus and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Two to six years of relevant experience in data privacy, AI, and cybersecurity.
• Experience handling data privacy, AI, and cybersecurity matters.
• High level of academic achievement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• AI, cybersecurity, and privacy incident preparedness and response.
• Regulatory defense investigations relating to AI, data privacy and cybersecurity issues.
• Building legally defensible AI, data privacy, and cybersecurity programs in the US (including for U.S. privacy laws).
• Due diligence and M&A support on AI, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
• Drafting policies and negotiating data processing and related agreements.
