Cyber Workforce Qualification and Training Support Specialist

We are hiring for a Cyber Workforce Qualification and Training Support Specialist for our Cyber Workforce Qualification and Training Support team in support of the Army G6. The ideal candidate will have a cybersecurity background with experience in managing, assessing, and briefing/reporting workforce training data in a DoD environment. Responsibilities
  • Track workforce training metrics and develop reports as requested. Assess the impact of training programs and other diagnostics.
  • Identify skill or knowledge gaps among employees and recommend training content accordingly.
  • Complete taskers on schedule and as per government requests.
  • Attend meetings to represent the Army, write summaries and information papers.
  • Write procedural documents, white papers, and weekly activity reports.
  • Use relational databases to track and report workforce and training progress.
  • Apply DoD 8140 Cyberspace Workforce Management standards and understand DoD and Army Cyber Workforce policies, contributing to policy updates.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Workforce Qualification requirements and database updates, communicating with the Army community via phone, Teams, or in person.
  • Coordinate with vendors, institutions, agencies, and international partners to facilitate appropriate training aligned with DoD work roles.
  • Participate in conferences, provide insights on Cyber and Signal training, and conduct briefings on cybersecurity training procedures.
  • Document cyber qualification requirements for Army reports to DoD and OMB for FISMA compliance.
  • Support Army Protection Program requirements in accordance with AR 525-2.
  • Assist in developing resource strategies and supporting planning, programming, budgeting, and execution activities to meet Army Workforce Qualification and Training needs.
  • Periodically conduct cybersecurity audits to identify security issues, supporting Army Protection Program assessments.
  • Produce artifacts and deliverables as required by the government.
Qualifications
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 10-12 years of experience, or master’s degree with 6+ years, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Expertise in workforce management and related regulations.
  • Familiarity with databases and metrics access.
  • Understanding of training tools, delivery mechanisms, and cybersecurity policies, including RMF and NIST standards.
  • Experience in military/DoD environments.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with senior stakeholders and writing high-level documents.
  • Experience in project management, independent work, and working with senior management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with HQDA or Army G6.
  • Experience working with military customers and staff.
