Job summary

Agile Defense, Inc. is seeking an experienced Vulnerability Researcher to join our team at Fort Meade, MD. You will conduct advanced vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and develop PoC exploits to support US Cyber Command missions.

Responsibilities include technical analysis, documenting findings, and collaborating with capability developers to translate research into practical tools. Active TS/SCI with poly is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 10+ years of professional experience (master’s with 8+ years acceptable).
• Expert proficiency with disassemblers/decompilers and debugging tools.
• Strong understanding of processor architectures (x86/x64/ARM).
• Experience discovering vulnerabilities in C/C++/Rust applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced vulnerability research and reverse engineering on software/hardware to identify exploitable weaknesses.
• Perform technical analysis of target platforms, including zero-day discovery via fuzzing and code analysis.
• Reverse engineer software, firmware, and hardware components with disassemblers and binary tools.
• Develop proof-of-concept exploits to validate findings and assess utility.
• Document vulnerability details and exploitation methodologies for technical audiences.
• Provide technical intelligence briefs to capability developers on weaknesses and exploitation paths.
• Collaborate with teams to translate research into operational tools.
