Job summary

Nightwing Intelligence Solutions, LLC is seeking a Vulnerability Researcher to use advanced systems to find zero-day vulnerabilities, analyze programmatic behaviors, and contribute to the development, testing, and debugging of security-critical software applications.

The role requires TS/SCI with FSP Poly, a strong background in vulnerability research, and experience with fuzzers, code analysis tools, and reverse engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
• 8+ years in a technology-related environment
• Discovery/attribution of 0-day vulnerabilities or CVEs
• History performing vulnerability research
• Experience with fuzzers (AFL, LibFuzzer, ClusterFuzz, oss-fuzz)
• Experience with code analysis tools (CodeQL, Joern, Semgrep)
• Experience with reverse engineering malware or code for CNE purposes
• Experience with reverse engineering tools (Ghidra, Ida Pro, Binary Ninja)
• Experience using debuggers (GDB, WinDbg)
• Experience with C/C++ and Python
• Familiarity with VSCode/Visual Studio/VIM/Emacs
• Familiarity with ARM or MIPS architectures and Linux variants
• Bonus for participation in CTFs

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze vulnerability techniques and programmatic behaviors
• Develop, test, and debug software applications related to vulnerability research
• Research data and propose new vulnerability design ideas
• Document findings and communicate with teams and stakeholders
