Job summary

ProSync Technology Group, LLC is seeking a Cyber Tools Lead to drive deployment, integration, sustainment, tuning, and optimization of cybersecurity tools essential for DoS monitoring, scanning, automation, logging, and visibility. The role requires coordinating with architecture teams on upgrades and tool deployments, with emphasis on tool lifecycle management and policy alignment.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in cyber tools engineering and is certified (CISSP/GCIA/GCIH or equivalent)

Qualifications

• 7+ years engineering experience in cyber tools.
• CISSP, GCIA, GCIH or equivalent certification required.
• Vendor certifications (Splunk/Tenable/Elastic/Linux/Cloud) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment, maintenance, and optimization of cybersecurity tools.
• Ensure tool implementations align with DoS enterprise standards.
• Plan upgrades and new tool deployments with architecture teams.

Job description

ProSync is seeking a passionate Cyber Tools Lead who will be focused on deployment, integration, sustainment, tuning, and optimization of cybersecurity tools essential for DoS monitoring, scanning, automation, logging, and visibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Cyber Tools Lead oversees deployment, maintenance, and optimization of cybersecurity tools

• Oversees the maturity of tools supporting scanning, SIEM, log aggregation, endpoint management, and orchestration.
• Ensures cybersecurity engineers align implementations with DoS enterprise standards.
• Works with architecture teams to plan upgrades and new tool deployments.

Operations & Tasks Overseen

• Tool lifecycle management
• Configuration baseline enforcement
• Tool tuning and dashboard oversight
• Integration planning with production environments
• Vendor coordination for tool support

Requirements

• 7+ years' engineering experience in cyber tools.
• A CISSP, GCIA, GCIH or equivalent certification is required.
• A vendor specific certification in Splunk, Tenable, Elastic, Linux, Cloud, etc. is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tool administration, APIs, log ingestion, scripting.

• A minimum Secret security clearance is required to be considered for this position with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. (We are not able to sponsor candidates for a security clearance)
  

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in any field. A Master's degree in any field is preferred.
