Key Role

1. Work as a member of a threat intelligence team responsible for understanding how emerging cyber threats impact the client organization.
2. Conduct detailed security threat analysis and work with clients to validate and characterize threats.
3. Support incident detection, response operations, and signature development.
4. Provide input on detection strategies and remediation guidance.
5. Form accurate analysis and escalate as needed.
6. Provide intelligence context to support signature fine-tuning.

Location: Washington, DC, US

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience
• 4+ years conducting threat research on nation-state, criminal, or malicious cyber activities
• Experience translating technical cyber events into narratives for technical and executive audiences
• Knowledge of internet technologies, protocols, and online tools
• Understanding of threat vectors, malware, networking, and monitoring
• Knowledge of threat intelligence tradecraft and analytic techniques
• Ability to produce concise analytical assessments
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with Splunk, Sentinel, open source platforms, digital forensics tools, programming languages, SIEM and Endpoint tools, penetration testing
• Certifications such as CEH, Security+, CSA+, GCTI

Clearance: Top Secret required

Compensation: Range $86,800 - $198,000 annually, with benefits and full-time/part-time options.

Work Model: Flexible, with options for in-person, remote, or hybrid work.
