Job summary

Check Point Software Technologies in the United States seeks a Threat Intelligence Analyst with 1–2 years of OSINT/WEBINT experience to monitor and analyze threats for customers. You will produce actionable alerts, study threat actors, tools, and techniques, and present findings to clients in clear terms.

You will identify data sources, create avatars on intel platforms, and tailor environments for customers, while collaborating across teams and supporting ongoing client needs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience with intelligence analysis processes including OSINT and WEBINT gathering.
• Inherent passion for cyber security and service excellence.
• Investigative and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of analytical tools, including Excel.
• Team player eager to learn and develop themselves and the team.
• Infosec certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze threats targeting customers to produce actionable intelligence alerts and reports.
• Investigate intelligence sources, threat actors, attack tools and techniques.
• Identify and develop data sources (darknet, forums, social media, marketplaces) and create avatars.
• Join meetings with clients to present deliverables and explain threat landscape and risks.
• Maintain ongoing communication and respond to customers' threat intelligence needs.
• Learn customer PIRs, configure their environments in our intelligence platform, and support tuning and training.
• Foster cooperation and feedback loops with other teams.

Job Description

• Monitoring and analyzing threats targeting customers, or issues in their digital exposure, in order to produce actionable intelligence alerts and reports
• Investigating intelligence sources, threat actors, attack tools and techniques
• Identifying and developing data sources to collect the most relevant intelligence (darknet, forums, social media, marketplaces, etc.) as well as creating and maintaining avatars on these
• Joining meetings with clients to present deliverables and explain the threat landscape and risks
• Ongoing communication and response to customers' threat intelligence needs and requests
• Learning the customer needs and PIRs, configuring their tailored environments in our intelligence platform and supporting the customers with tuning/training throughout engagement
• Drive cooperation & feedback loops with other teams

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience with intelligence analysis processes (army included), including Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Web Intelligence (WEBINT) gathering, link analysis, and threat actor profiling
• Inherent passion for cyber security and service excellence, understanding of infosec fundamentals and risks
• Investigative and analytical problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of analytical tools, including excel
• A team player who is eager to learn new methods and develop themselves and their team
• Infosec certifications an advantage
