Job summary

Nightwing seeks a Cyber Threat Analyst to support a U.S. Government client in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities include researching resolution steps for incidents, applying attacker TTPs, and analyzing logs to mitigate and resolve breaches.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• DHS suitability required.
• 2+ years in cyber incident management or cybersecurity operations.
• Knowledge of incident response methodologies.
• Familiarity with NCCIC National Cyber Incident Scoring System.
• Understanding of common attack stages and vulnerability types.
• Ability to work across distributed locations.

Responsibilities

• Research and compile resolution steps for CND incidents.
• Identify and validate threats using actor TTPs.
• Apply cybersecurity concepts to detect intrusions and analyze logs.
• Conduct cursory analysis of log data.
• Identify incident causes and infection vectors.
• Track CND incidents from detection to resolution.
• Coordinate information across organization during incidents.
• Triaged and researched IOCs; escalate as needed.
