Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Cyber Threat Analyst to support a U.S. Government customer in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on on-site incident response, rapid investigation, and mitigation of cyber threats in a dynamic environment.

Required TS/SCI clearance, 2+ years in cyber incident management, and knowledge of incident handling, NCCIC scoring, and attack stages. Nightwing offers competitive compensation and benefits, with opportunities to impact critical national security missions.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance required.
• Experience in incident management or cybersecurity operations (2+ years).
• Familiarity with incident response methodologies and NCIC/NCCIC scoring.

Responsibilities

• Researching and compiling resolution steps to mitigate potential CND incidents.
• Apply knowledge of TTPs of threat actors to identify and validate threats.
• Analyze log data for intrusion detection and defense.
• Determine incident cause and gather background information from external entities.
• Track CND incidents from detection to resolution and coordinate with internal teams.
• Work schedule triage and investigate IOCs; escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with other components to obtain incident-related information.
