Node.Digital is seeking a Systems Engineer/ Cyber Technology Researcher to support a U.S. Government customer on onsite incident response in Arlington, VA.

The role requires an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain DHS EOD suitability, with responsibilities spanning lifecycle management of investigations and capability implementations. The ideal candidate will conduct capability-based research, evaluate technologies, stay current on market trends, and collaborate with knowledge

Qualificações

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active Secret clearance is required; TS/SCI preferred.
• Ability to obtain DHS EOD suitability.
• Minimum 5+ years in IT cyber operations, systems integration or related fields.
• Strong understanding of federal cybersecurity operations and mission environments.
• Experience managing technology pilots and production transitions.
• Knowledge of change management and configuration control processes.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and integration automation practices.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to assess and mitigate operational risks; experience with incident response and mission-critical systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct capability-based research into technology solutions addressing customer needs.
• Evaluate solutions against functional and technical requirements; include hands-on testing.
• Stay updated on emerging market technologies impacting operations.
• Maintain an inventory of customer-procured technologies, tools, and data holdings.
• Engage with customer request submitters to clarify requirements and align tech recommendations.
