Job summary

VT Group (VTG) seeks a Cyber Technical Targeter to join our team in Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on cyber operations and analysis to support customer requirements and drive actionable intelligence.

You will read and respond to customer communications, identify leads, and coordinate with partner organizations using customer-provided datasets and tools. TS/SCI with Poly is required; 5+ years as a Technical Targeter at Full Performance level are expected.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Poly is a must.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years as a Technical Targeter (Full Performance 5+, Senior 8+, Expert 11+).
• Familiarity with good internet OPSEC.

Overview

VTG is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cyber Technical Targeter to join our team.

What will you do?

• The ideal candidate will have cyber expertise in the area of operations, analysis and virtual operations to support customer requirements.
• Responsibilities include but are not limited to reading and responding to customer communications and identifying potential leads by exploiting customer information.
• Utilizing customer provided tools to correlate and enhance initial leads and coordinating leads with other customer partner organizations.

• TS/SCI with Poly
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
• A minimum of 5+ years as a Technical Targeter (Full Performance 5+ years, Senior 8+ years, Expert 11+ years)
• Familiarity with good internet OPSEC
• Ability to learn and manipulate a variety of customer provided data sets with customer provided tools.
• Proven in-depth knowledge of computer hardware/software and a strong understanding of computer/internet communications methods
• In-depth understanding of Social Media sites
• Excellent research and writing skills
