Job summary

IBM Cybersecurity internship offers hands-on experience supporting real client security projects across operations, cloud security, identity management, risk and incident response. Qualifications

• Pursuing a university degree with strong academic record (preferred STEM majors).
• Demonstrated problem-solving, adaptability and collaboration in projects.
• Familiarity with network security concepts and encryption protocols.
• Exposure to cybersecurity domains such as Threat Management, Security Operations, IAM, Cloud Security or Governance, Risk and Compliance.
• Knowledge of areas like network security, software development, web/mobile apps, identity technologies, or secure design.
• Familiarity with security and infrastructure tools and technologies.
• Interest in trends like AI-driven threat detection and modern cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Support real client security projects across security operations, cloud, IAM and risk management.
• Collaborate with senior consultants on security solutions across people, processes and technology.
• Analyze requirements and contribute to security monitoring, threat detection, and risk management activities.
• Contribute to activities including security monitoring, identity and access management, cloud security and data protection.
