Job summary

Lockheed Martin RMS is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and test software for antenna, transceiver, and receiver systems. You will code in C++, Python, or MATLAB and leverage tools like Simulink or LabVIEW to simulate and verify complex designs.

You will collaborate with electrical and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration and conformance to requirements, while supporting a modern cyber operations environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • May substitute four years' experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • May substitute two years' experience with MS in Engineering or CS.

  • Knowledge of various Software Development languages
  • Current US Security Clearance with a polygraph (updated within the last 7 years)

THE WORK
A Software Engineer will design, develop, and test software applications that interact with systems, including antennas, transceivers, and receivers. On a daily basis, they will write code in languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB, and use software tools such as Simulink or LabVIEW to simulate and analyze systems. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and systems engineers, to ensure that the software meets the requirements of the system and integrates seamlessly with other components.

More of your responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implement DSP algorithms in software
  • Provide concise explanation of developed models to allow other team members to understand/utilize models or algorithms for processing signals

Designs, develops, documents, tests, and maintains full spectrum cyber solutions. Develops and automates secure systems to support cyber offensive, defense and full spectrum cyber operations.Conducts vulnerability research, reverse engineering, penetration testing (red/blue teams), develops and integrates low-level firmware, and/or develops specialized cyber software solutions and tools based on mission requirements. Applies system knowledge of subject matter (hardware, software, networks, cloud, etc.) to conduct research to evaluate potential vulnerabilities and develop new capabilities to exploit and/or mitigate vulnerabilities.

Basic Qualifications
  • * Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00
