Job summary

ComTec Information Systems (IT) in Houston, TX is seeking a senior project manager to lead cybersecurity initiatives across IT and business stakeholders. This full-time hybrid role manages projects from business case through implementation, oversees budgets, schedules, risks, and vendor coordination, and leads design workshops, assessments, and troubleshooting to ensure timely, secure delivery.

Qualifications

• Senior project management experience with a detail-oriented approach

Responsibilities

• Manage cybersecurity projects from business case through implementation
• Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, planning, execution, controls, communications, risk analysis, quality assurance, and team and vendor coordination
• Lead design workshops, assessments, and troubleshooting sessions
• Direct technical fixes and implementation, including hardware installation, environment setup, production certification, software deployment, integration development, testing, data management, and vendor technical work
• Compare actual project performance with plans and forecast costs
• Develop project scope, plans, and schedules, and track progress, milestones, and deliverables
• Facilitate meetings with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, set milestones, communicate timelines, track actions, and monitor project status
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies

Salary: $70,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements

• Senior project management experience, with a detail-oriented approach

• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with IT and business stakeholders
• Experience managing cybersecurity projects, including vulnerability management, firewalls, endpoint protection, and network segmentation
