Qualifications

• Establish governance, RAID tracking, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Partner with teams to deploy exposure management, vulnerability management, and SOC/SIEM capabilities.
• Support risk-based prioritization and remediation tracking with asset data.

Job description

Join a high-impact cybersecurity program as a Senior IT Project Manager, where you'll help lead enterprise initiatives that strengthen threat exposure management, security operations, and risk-based remediation. This role offers the opportunity to coordinate across technical teams, vendors, and business partners to deliver meaningful security outcomes in a dynamic, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple cybersecurity projects or a large security program from planning through operational transition.
• Build integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, budgets, resource needs, and delivery roadmaps.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across cybersecurity, infrastructure, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, asset management, governance, engineering, and business teams.
• Establish governance structures, decision forums, RAID tracking, change control, KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Partner with technical teams to support deployment and integration of exposure management, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, CMDB, ServiceNow, and security operations capabilities.
• Support risk-based prioritization, validation, remediation tracking, and reporting using business criticality, exploitability, threat context, and asset data.
• Manage vendors, SOWs, licensing, delivery performance, and professional services engagements.
• Track project financials, forecasts, schedules, scope, resources, and benefits, and escalated issues when needed.
• Prepare status updates, steering committee materials, funding requests, decision papers, and executive-ready reports.
• Ensure delivery aligns with project methodology, quality expectations, information protection practices, and relevant security frameworks.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 8+ years of IT or cybersecurity project/program management experience, including extensive experience with enterprise security initiatives.
• Proven success managing complex, cross-functional efforts with global stakeholders, multiple vendors, and regulated environments.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting, procurement, and financial controls.
• Strong knowledge of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, risk, issue, dependency, quality, and change management.
• Ability to build governance models, roadmaps, operating rhythms, dashboards, and transition plans.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics into clear business language.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of vulnerability and exposure management, attack surface management, threat intelligence, SOC/SIEM, asset discovery, CMDB, GRC, and ServiceNow security workflows.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF 2.0, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-82, CIS Controls, and Zero Trust principles.

Preferred Skills

• PMP, PgMP, or a comparable project management certification.
• CISSP, CISM, or CRISC certification.
• SAFe Agilist or similar agile delivery certification.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, CTEM, vulnerability management, or exposure management solutions.
• Experience supporting OT or manufacturing security environments.
• Background in change management, portfolio management, or reporting/dashboard tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead in fast-paced, matrixed environments with confidence and adaptability.
