Qualifications

• Demonstrated network engineering experience with understanding of network protocols and technologies.
• Experience managing online public portals or similar technology.
• Experience with network hardware, software systems, internet networking, and encryption protocols.
• Knowledge of how browsers interact with websites and browser security settings.
• Experience using CDNs and understanding their interaction with public services.
• Experience configuring Tor and maintaining Tor Onion Services.
• Experience with open and dark web security settings and tools to protect websites and visitors.
• Experience analyzing cyber selector data, system logs, and network traffic.
• Experience conducting network and browser troubleshooting.
• Ability to implement security standards in fast-changing environments.
• Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to balance requirements, performance, cost, and security when designing solutions.
• Experience defining, analyzing, tracking, and reviewing requirements.
• Experience documenting network configurations, processes, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tradecraft, technical, and network solutions to secure portals and networks.
• Utilize cutting edge internet technologies to protect public portals and visitor data.
• Research, develop, and document design and implementation for portals and networks.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to document requirements and ensure security and operations.
• Communicate across organizational boundaries, including other contractor teams.
• Work with Sponsor staff and external stakeholders to implement solutions.
• Describe and document mission solution architecture and interfaces with governance approvals.
• Ensure new applications meet performance SLAs and uptime targets.
• Monitor applications and provide status with resolution plans for failures.
• Comply with Sponsor's Cyber Security Risk Management framework throughout the lifecycle.
• Track requirements and action items to meet deadlines.
• Support data collection, compilation, evaluation, and publishing in project documents.
