Cyber Security Operations Specialist, CSOC Tier 3

Abile Group has an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Operations Specialist, CSOC Tier 3, supporting Network and Cybersecurity services for an Intelligence Community customer. The team will work across multiple networks and security domains worldwide, supporting new facilities and infrastructure to fulfill the IC mission.

The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and qualifications to handle responsibilities independently and professionally, including:

• Coordination and implementation of cyber incident response tasks, including containment, IP/domain blocks, and account disablement under government direction.
• Collaboration with Security and Installations Directorate (SI), Insider Threat Office (SIII), law enforcement, and counterintelligence personnel for incident investigation and triage.
• Preparation of security incident reports and incident categorization.
• Coordination with various organizational entities to ensure proper incident reporting, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Documentation of incident timelines, actions, and analysis in ticketing systems and reporting platforms like JIMS and ICMS.
• Development and execution of custom scripts and tools for data collection and incident response.
• Analysis of digital media, malware, and indicators of compromise, including adversary attribution.
• Collaboration with Tier 1 and 2 CSOC services for remediation and prevention recommendations.

Clearance Required: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with 6 years of cybersecurity experience.

Required Certifications: DoDD 8140.01, DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II, CSSP Incident Responder.

Desired Certifications: Master's degree, IAT III.

Required Skills: Development of daily and weekly cybersecurity reports, participation in defensive operations, digital media analysis, malware reverse engineering, incident investigation, and quality control reviews.
