Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Operations Manager to lead the cyber operations team and drive secure technology solutions across CONUS/OCONUS programs. You will ensure compliance with DoD, NIST, and Zero Trust frameworks while directing procurement and vendor relationships.

The role requires a strong background in cyber security management, risk assessment, and mentoring technical staff, with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience including seven (7) years of leadership experience.
• Strong Cyber Security and IT background.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Networking and cyber defensive tool expertise.
• Ability to mentor and develop individual contributors at various competencies.
• Strong knowledge and use of AI technologies.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Cyber Security Engineering Manager to lead complex cybersecurity initiatives, strengthen organizational security posture, and oversee cyber operation team delivering secure technology solutions. This leader will compliance, and operational security functions to support mission‑critical environments across CONUS and OCONUS locations spanning 150 programs, and 30,000 employees.

In this role, you will direct the cyber operation team, enhance processes and support the procurement of software and hardware for the cyber security organization. You will ensure alignment with DoD, NIST, Zero Trust, and emerging cyber mandates while managing and supporting secure, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational staff supporting the cybersecurity program and associated cyber tools that protect CACI’s networks and ensure program compliance.
• Collaborate with Cyber Engineering and Threat Teams to assess security, risk, and compliance levels across supported systems.
• Support mitigation and remediation strategies for internal and program environments to ensure risks are properly qualified and addressed.
• Apply data analysis techniques to produce reporting that tracks and communicates the security posture of CACI’s infrastructure.
• Partner with internal teams and third-party vendors to develop robust cybersecurity solutions for both internal and external needs.
• Work effectively in a multi-functional, team‑centric environment.
• Develop weekly plans and provide ongoing project and initiative status updates.
• Support continuous improvement of processes and documentation.
• Lead productive meetings and coordinate tasking across cyber, program, and IT teams.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all business levels, from technical staff to senior leadership.
• Maintain strong vendor and partner relationships.
• Support procurement processes for purchasing and renewals.
• Lead cross-team efforts within Cyber and IT to achieve results aligned with industry standards.
• Translate complex security and technology requirements into clear, understandable guidance for non‑technical staff.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity/Engineering or similar
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience including seven (7) years of leadership experience
• Strong Cyber Security and IT background
• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Ability to mentor and develop individual technical contributors at various competencies
• Strong knowledge and use of AI technologies

Demonstrate an intermediate level of knowledge in three or more of the following:

• NIST 800 series
• CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification)
• Risk management and mitigation strategies
• Implementation of security tools across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms
• Familiarity of cloud architectures including PaaS/IaaS/SaaS implementations
• Knowledge and understanding of multifactor authentication, identity, and user privilege elevation
• Defense in depth strategies
• Attack surface reduction techniques
• Vulnerably management and mitigaitions

Desired

• CYSA+, CISSP, CEH, Security+, and other security or network-based certifications
• Secret or Top-Secret clearance
• Previous experience with the management of cybersecurity tools and technologies.
• Experience with risk management frameworks, DFARS regulations, NIST 800-171, CMMC, ISO 27001, others
