CACI International Inc is seeking a highly experienced Cyber Security Engineering Manager to lead complex cybersecurity initiatives, guide architecture, engineering, compliance, and operations teams across CONUS and OCONUS sites.

You will oversee staff delivering secure technology solutions, mentor engineers, and partner with Cyber Operations, Threat Teams, and governance functions to strengthen the organization's security posture.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity/Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience including seven (7) years of leadership experience.
  • Strong Cyber Security and IT background.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Networking and Cyber Defensive tool expertise.
  • Strong knowledge and use of AI technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide management of staff supporting cybersecurity program and related cyber tooling protecting the CACI networks and supporting compliance requirements amongst our programs, mitigation of emerging threats, and development of novel solutions to new requirements.
  • Work with Cyber Operations and Threat Teams to assess the security, risk, and compliance levels of supported systems.
  • Monitor trends in cybersecurity threats as well as NIST 800 standards in support of these systems.
  • Support mitigation strategies and track stakeholder implementation to ensure risks are qualified and addressed appropriately.
  • Use data analysis techniques and tools to provide valuable reporting to track the security posture of CACI's infrastructure.
  • Work with CACI and third parties to develop robust solutions to support CACI's internal and external support needs.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Cyber Security Engineering Manager to lead complex cybersecurity initiatives, strengthen organizational security posture, and oversee engineering teams delivering secure technology solutions. This leader will guide architecture, engineering, compliance, and operational security functions to support mission-critical environments across CONUS and OCONUS locations spanning 150 programs, and 27,000 employees.

  • Ability to work in a multi-functional team-centric environment
  • Ability to manage small to medium sized teams consisting of geographically dispersed highly technical engineers
  • Develop weekly plans and provide on-going status reporting for major projects and initiatives
  • Support engineering process and documentation enhancements
  • Ability to lead productive meetings and manage tasking across our teams
  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders at all business levels, technical to senior leadership
  • Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills
  • Maintain strong vendor and partner relationships
  • Ability to lead across Cyber and IT teams within CACI to drive results in alignment with industry standards
  • Ability to translate security and technology requirements to non-technical staff
Required:
  • BA/BS in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity/Engineering or similar
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience including seven (7) years of leadership experience
  • Strong Cyber Security and IT background
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Networking and Cyber Defensive tool expertise
  • Ability to mentor and develop individual technical contributors at various competencies
  • Strong knowledge and use of AI technologies
Desired
  • CYSA+, CISSP, CEH, Security+, and other security or network-based certifications
  • Secret or Top-Secret clearance
  • Previous experience with the management of cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities.
  • Experience with risk management frameworks, DFARS regulations, NIST 800-171, CMMC, ISO 27001, others
Demonstrate an intermediate level of knowledge in three or more of the following
  • NIST 800 series
  • CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification)
  • Risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Implementation of security tools across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms
  • Familiarity of cloud architectures including PaaS/IaaS/SaaS implementations
  • Knowledge and understanding of multifactor authentication, identity, and user privilege elevation
  • Defense in depth strategies
  • Attack surface reduction techniques
