Job summary

Obrela is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the delivery and maintenance of advanced security solutions for our customers. The role centers on securing web applications and databases, deploying security controls, and collaborating with application, infrastructure, cloud, and database teams to drive secure production environments.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of security or infrastructure engineering experience, strong networking

Qualifications

2–3 years in a security or infrastructure engineering role.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
Core cybersecurity knowledge and best practices.
Experience with EDR/XDR platforms and customer support.
Strong written and verbal communication in English and Greek.

Responsibilities

Implement, configure, and tune Imperva WAF, Cloud WAF, and DAM across on-premises and cloud environments.
Design and enforce security controls to protect web applications and databases.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, cloud, and database teams to integrate security solutions.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and integration guides.
Provide guidance to internal teams and customers on security best practices and platform usage.
Onboard and configure EDR platforms, including policy setup and deployment guides.
