Job summary

Cambridge International Systems, Inc. in Charleston, SC is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to support DoD programs. This full-time role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and hands-on work defending and securing DoD networks.

You will monitor networks, evaluate risk, and drive RMF/NIST authorization activities while developing policies and security controls. Collaboration with engineers and program staff is essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma plus 5 years of cyber security experience.
• Experience with RMF processes and artifact development.
• Ability to lead cyber security professionals and provide mentorship.
• Experience with RMF and A&A tools such as eMASS and MCCAST.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security posture and support RMF/NIST authorizations.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, standards, and A&A artifacts.
• Evaluate systems for compliance with DoD information security standards.
• Identify vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation and risk mitigation.
• Lead security testing and validation activities for controls.
• Collaborate with program teams to ensure secure architecture and operations.
