Job summary

Artifintech is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to protect organizational systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. You will identify vulnerabilities, monitor incidents, and implement security controls to ensure compliance with industry standards.

You will work with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to apply security best practices, conduct audits, and maintain security documentation while supporting patch management and hardening efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2 security standards.
• Experience implementing identity and access management (IAM) and MFA.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and respond to potential cyber threats.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
• Implement and manage security solutions such as firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Monitor security events using SIEM tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or QRadar.
• Analyze security logs and identify suspicious activities, unauthorized access, and potential attacks.
• Implement identity and access management (IAM), including user provisioning, access reviews, and MFA.
• Perform risk assessments and recommend security improvements.
• Support incident response, threat detection, and remediation activities.
• Ensure compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2.
• Conduct security audits and maintain security documentation and reports.
• Work with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to implement security best practices.
• Assist in patch management and security configuration management.
