Job summary

Emprise Bank seeks a Cyber Security Engineer to safeguard systems and information. You will own vulnerability management, DLP controls, IAM policy development, vendor due diligence, and tier 3 end-user support while collaborating with IT leadership.

You will stay ahead of emerging threats and drive incident response efforts, delivering measurable improvements in security posture and risk reduction for a financial institution.

Qualifications

• College Degree or equivalent education plus industry experience enables the applicant to meet job requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of SIEM platforms, malware applications (Windows Defender, Symantec, etc.), threat detection and analysis, patch management systems, and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with VMware, Hypervisor, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability management and security operations, including patching, vulnerability scanning, threat analysis, and incident response.
• Develop and enforce identity and access management policies, ensuring least-privilege access where possible.
• Develop, test, and review data loss prevention controls and monitor confidential data storage and transmission.
• Vet vendors through due diligence, conduct annual reviews for critical vendors, and document findings.
