Job Description

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding complex systems and networks by implementing and managing robust security measures.

The work you'll do

Your primary responsibilities will include applying and maintaining security controls in compliance with ICD 503 and NIST 800-53 standards. You will assess and mitigate risks by conducting vulnerability and compliance scans using automated tools, ensuring that systems remain secure and resilient against evolving threats. This role requires you to work across diverse environments, including Linux, Windows, cloud platforms, and networking equipment, to ensure comprehensive security coverage. Additionally, you will contribute to the Intelligence Community Assessment Process, ensuring that security measures align with the unique requirements of intelligence operations.

To excel in this role, you will benefit from hands-on experience with automated vulnerability and compliance scanning tools, as well as a deep understanding of security frameworks like ICD 503 and NIST 800-53. Familiarity with implementing security controls across various operating systems, cloud infrastructures, and networking devices will be essential. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
